Incogniton: Profiles and free-plan boundaries. Purpose, access conditions, limitations and official sources.
What is Incogniton used for?
Incogniton is designed for separate browser profiles. Read its free-plan conditions carefully: the initial profile allowance decreases after the introductory period. This matters when planning ongoing work.
| Item | Details |

What to check before setup
Test the profile lifecycle before creating a large collection: a new test environment, reopening, transfer where available and deletion. Assign an owner to each working session so one person's subscription ending does not stop the whole team.

Check the website address. Follow the developer’s instructions for verifying the file’s signature or checksum.
Getting started with Incogniton
- Open the official download page and check OS, architecture and current subscription terms.
- Create a test profile without work passwords or payment details.
- Check session persistence and member permissions; verify routing separately if adding a proxy.
- Test access revocation and test-data deletion before moving work accounts.
- Record renewal dates and confirm how to cancel the subscription before relying on the service.

Limitations and data protection in Incogniton
Compare short and long subscriptions by total payment and commitment length. A saved profile does not guarantee recovery of a website account: second factors and recovery codes need separate storage. Proxies and profiles solve different problems.
This is a review of public documentation, not an installation test, security audit or performance benchmark.
Alternatives for related tasks
For one work login, consider an ordinary separate browser profile first. If you only need a different network route, compare proxy services; they do not isolate cookies. Keep passwords and recovery codes in a separate vault.
