What is YG & Socks5 used for?
This is a server component of Proxy Geo Router. The developer describes a SOCKS5 server, mobile proxy connections and graphical Yggdrasil management. It is not a subscription with a ready-made pool of third-party IP addresses.

Access your proxy through Yggdrasil
Use it to reach your own server behind NAT through an overlay. The client needs a route to its Yggdrasil address, which is not an ordinary publicly reachable IPv6 address. Check overlay connectivity before testing the proxy.

Getting started with YG & Socks5
- Open the official download page below and check the filename. Save current network settings before installation; start in a test environment without production secrets.
- Before connecting, record the original addresses and service availability. This distinguishes a tunnel problem from an existing DNS or application failure.
- Use your own devices and authorized connections. Restrict access to the proxy and management panel, set separate credentials and check firewall rules.
- Set the SOCKS5 address and port in one test application. If TCP works but UDP does not, check client UDP ASSOCIATE support and server restrictions. A browser proxy does not automatically route every application on the computer.
- Finish by disconnecting and reconnecting. Confirm the required routes and panel access are restored; save the working configuration without publishing passwords or keys.
